• Are dogs allowed?
Yes, as long as they're well behaved, absolutely, however they MUST be kept on a lead at all times.
• Are there toilet/shower facilities?
There are showers on the site and generous toilet facilities - a mix of portaloos and plumbed in.
• Is electric hook-up available?
There is no electricity available on our standard pitches. We do have a very limited number of VIP pitches however which come with all sorts of bonus features – including electric hook-up. More info on pitches can be found on the purchase tickets page.
• Can we hire a tent to stay in?
You certainly can – gorgeous fully furnished bell-tents to be exact. Just drop us a line for full details and prices at email@example.com
• I don’t have a glawning/campervan, can I still come to Glampfest?
Absolutely! Bring a tent or hire a lovely Bell Tent which will be all set up for you when you arrive (see above).
• Are open fires allowed?
Open fires can be lit in fire pits supplied by the site. Or, woodburning stove that are off the ground and flued out of your tent/glawning safely are also allowed.
• Is there a fresh water supply?
• Where are the nearest shops to the campsite?
The small village of Kirkby Malzeard is a five minute walk from the campsite – you will find Kirby Stores which sells groceries, newspapers, booze and other general supplies, a post office, a butchers, an ‘antiques, arts and curios’ shop and a Fish and Chip shop.
• Are there any pubs nearby?
The Queen’s Head is the village pub of Kirkby Malzeard. Open daily from 12 noon to midnight.
• Are there medical facilities on site?
Yes, we have dedicated first aid professional on site throughout the festival. Speak to any member of staff if you are in need of assistance.
• Are there cash points nearby?
There is no cash machine in Kirkby Malzeard – nearest facilities can be found in Ripon, Masham or Pateley Bridge.
• How much money goes to charity?
Glampfest is a festival passionate about raising money for chosen charities. There will be a number of opportunities for you to donate to these charities throughout the weekend, including a luxury raffle. After the event has finished we will confirm how much money has been paid to charity.
• I’ve lost/misplaced my ticket confirmation email
Don’t worry – we’ll have a record of your booking and will be able to look you up on our system when you arrive.
• What time do the gates open?
Gates open at 12pm on Friday.
• What is the latest time I can arrive?
As long as you're there before it gets too dark there should be someone around to show you where to go.
What is your refunds policy?
Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds on tickets.
Can I come for the day?
Yes - this year we are offering day tickets. Please see our ‘Buy Tickets’ page to purchase.
